The Leo Baeck Fellowship programme offers the following benefits to participants:

  • Fellows get a 1,350 euro monthly stipend.
  • Additionally, a monthly research grant of 100 euros is offered.
  • Additionally, fellows are entitled to apply for health insurance supplements of up to €100 per month for childcare and health insurance as well as travel reimbursements to support their attendance at foreign conferences.
  • Additionally, scholarships for out-of-country tuition expenditures are available (up to a maximum of €10,000).

Candidates must provide the following documents in either English or Spanish:

  • One page long cover letter outlining your motivations for joining the programme
  • Curriculum vitae including details on schooling, interests, and language skills
  • a photocopy of any college diplomas, with grades or marks (5 pages) study proposal
  • The research schedule for the academic year 2024-2025 includes planned research trips.

  • Second letter of recommendation
